When you report you phone stolen to your local police station you should be issued with a reference number. However, depending on the circumstances of your theft, the police may not be able to determine that your phone has definitely been stolen. In such a circumstance you may then be issued with either a Booking or a Property Lost in the Street reference number. Unfortunately we are unable to process any claim that is does not receive a crime reference number from the Police.
